Implantable Collamer Lens
Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery is a cutting-edge vision correction procedure designed to address refractive errors such as near-sightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism.
Unlike traditional contact lenses, ICLs are surgically implanted within the eye, specifically between the iris and the natural lens, without removing any eye tissue. Made from a biocompatible material called Collamer, these lenses provide a high degree of clarity and comfort, offering a permanent solution for vision correction. ICL surgery is an ideal option for individuals who are not suitable candidates for laser vision correction or prefer a reversible procedure. The surgery is minimally invasive, with a quick recovery period, and can provide significant improvement in vision quality, enhancing overall visual performance and lifestyle.
