Patient Terms & Conditions – OCL London Limited (trading as OCL Vision)
Thank you for choosing OCL Vision.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as they outline important information about our services and your care.

1. Introduction
These Terms do not specify the cost of treatment. Our price list is available on our website or can be provided during your initial consultation. Your consultant will discuss treatment costs with you, and you will be given separate payment terms ("Payment Terms").
Consultation charges are set out on our website and will be advised at time of booking.
At time of booking you shall be required to pay a deposit for your appointment, treatment or surgery. Deposits are non-refundable. This applies to Self-Pay and Insured Patients.
Appointments may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the appointment, treatment or surgery.
If you cancel and have received any treatment, you will be charged for treatment received within this period. If you opt for financing options, different terms may apply, so please refer to their terms & conditions.
Consultants at OCL Vision are independent practitioners and not employees of OCL Vision. They are solely responsible for the treatment they provide. If your consultant is an OCL Vision employee, we will inform you, and in such cases, OCL Vision will assume liability for your care.
OCL London Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 945670). We act as a credit broker, not a lender. Credit is subject to status and affordability, provided by Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC. Terms & Conditions apply.

3. Booking & Consultations
Consultations
Your consultation will be arranged at one of our clinics. Details of the location and appointment times shall be confirmed to you at time of booking.
Payment for consultations are made at time of booking to secure your appointment time slot. Details of your appointment will also be emailed to you including a SMS to confirm your appointment. It is your responsibility to check and attend your appointment at the time advised.
During your consultation the outcome may include:
- Confirmation of provisional suitability;
- Advice that treatment is unsuitable for you; and,
- A request for further information.
The consultant shall advise at your appointment the outcome and next steps. Any follow-up post consultation shall be issued from our bookings team including details of your treatment appointment, surgical booking schedule and information relating to your consent for treatment.

Optometrist and Consultant Lead Consultations
- During your consultation, we will provide:
- Diagnostic scans (Where required) and clinical evaluations
- Procedure options, risks, benefits, and limitations
- A discussion of treatment or surgery costs and Payment Terms
Note that you shall be advised at time of booking what your appointment charges are, should you require additional scans these shall be advised during to your appointment. Pricing is also displayed on our website for indicative costs.
Where additional scans or treatments are required on the day, you shall be charged for these at the clinic. Details of pricing are available on our website, via our contact team or will be advised on the day by the Optometrist or Consultant.
4. Risks & Liability
We take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your belongings but are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal items.
No procedure is entirely risk-free. We will explain all risks, benefits, and limitations during your consultation.
You will receive an aftercare information pack following surgery.
Consultants are independent practitioners unless explicitly stated otherwise, and OCL Vision is not liable for their actions.
5. Payment Terms
Private Patients
- Details of Payment Terms and options will be provided during or after your initial consultation.
- Deposit payment is due at time of booking. Full payment is due at least 14 days before treatment.
- Private patients are responsible for prescription and consumable costs.
- Overdue payments may be referred to a debt collection agency, and additional fees may apply.
- We accept payment via Credit/ Debit card, Bank Transfer or via our finance partner.
Insured Patients / Third-Party Sponsors
- You must confirm in advance that your insurer or sponsor covers your treatment.
- If your insurer or sponsor fails to pay within 30 days, you will be responsible for payment.
- Some treatments or extended enhanced lenses may not be covered by insurers; you will be responsible for uncovered or additional costs.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
- You may cancel or reschedule by calling 020 3369 2020 or via our contact form available on www.oclvision.com.
- Cancellations of appointments must be actioned 14 days prior to your booking.
- Late cancellations (within 14 days of appointment) may incur a 25% charge including non-refundable deposits.
- If your consultant cancels, we will offer an alternative date or a refund if rescheduling is not possible.
- OCL Vision is not responsible for travel or accommodation costs incurred.
7. Treatment for Minors
We do not provide consultations, treatment or surgery for individuals under 18 years old. Proof of age may be requested.
8. Confidentiality

9. Updates & Governing Law
We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify you accordingly.
These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
