Ms. Rabia Bourkiza is a highly regarded Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a special focus on vitreoretinal and cataract surgery.

Her extensive training began in London, where she completed her specialist ophthalmology training, including rotations through Moorfields Eye Hospital and other prominent institutions. Her dedication to retinal care led her to pursue two advanced retinal surgical fellowships and a medical retina fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, where she later served as a locum consultant in vitreoretinal surgery.

Ms. Bourkiza is currently based at London North West University NHS Trust, where she has established a comprehensive vitreoretinal service that attracts referrals from hospitals across West London. In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in retinal clinical trials and has authored 16 peer-reviewed articles in international journals. Her commitment to medical education is demonstrated by her role as a College Tutor for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and her completion of a PGCert in Medical Education at University College London.
